Dry-Cleaning Services

Preparing the Garments for Cleaning

Our dry cleaning process starts with preparing the garments meticulously. This includes measuring for blocking when necessary, protecting or removing buttons and ornaments, evaluating the serviceability of each item, identifying stains for targeted treatment, and inspecting for any damage or loose seams.

Expert Stain Removal Techniques

Stain removal is handled by our team of experienced professionals who employ a combination of soaking and individual stain removal methods. Many of these techniques are proprietary, ensuring that we address each stain with precision and care.

Advanced Cleaning Procedures

Our cleaning procedures encompass a range of methods, including dry cleaning, wet cleaning, and hand cleaning. We utilize extensive classification and customized programs, applying only the purest solvents to maintain the integrity of your garments.

Specialized Hand Finishing

Hand finishing is a highly specialized skill performed by our finishing professionals. Our finishing stations are meticulously set up to achieve optimal results. For instance, our soft wool press is padded to prevent shine, while cotton and linen garments are finished using firmer pads to ensure the best appearance.

Minor Repairs and Maintenance

We address minor repairs such as fixing loose hems, open seams, and loose buttons, as well as replacing any missing buttons. These repairs are carried out as needed to ensure that your garments are returned in excellent condition.

Thorough Inspection Process

Each garment undergoes a formal inspection at the individual item level and again upon order completion. This rigorous process ensures that we provide the highest quality craftsmanship and adhere to your preferences. Intermediate inspections are conducted throughout production to confirm that stains have been removed and will not be set with the heat of finishing.

Protective Packaging

We take great care in packaging your garments to protect them during storage and transport. Most garments are individually protected with a poly bag, and we use tissue paper, custom hangers, and specially designed breathable garment bags and boxes to ensure optimal protection.

Understanding Dry Cleaning

Dry cleaning is particularly effective for fabrics such as wools, polyesters, and silks, which need to be cleaned of oils and grease without experiencing shrinkage or other distortions. These fabrics do not respond well to soap and water cleaning and may suffer damage if cleaned improperly.
